This is a clip of Brad Paisley who plays a Larrivee and John Mayer who plays a Martin.  They're playing "Old Love" which is a song written by Eric Clapton.  I know there are a lot of Blues players on this forum so I thought you guys might enjoy this...

Clapton co-wrote it with Robert Cray.

I played a new John Mayer Martin Signature about a month ago that was a very nice guitar. Probably one of the top 5 Martins I have ever played, regardless of vintage.

No problem guys, here's another clip of Brad Paisley and his Larrivee playing "Me Neither."  This is for all you country music lovers out there.

What body style is John Mayer's Martin?

Looks like an OM on the video. I believe the John Mayer Signature is an OM as well.

Wow I am surprised that if it's custom he'd pick TUSQ.

Tusq does work better in some cases. I have two guitars that sound better (to me) with tusq than with bone.

IMHO, the JM that I played was almost perfect. I got lost in the sound and never even thought to look at what the saddle was made of. Silly me.  :WNK>
