Hi,

What do you think of Inexpensive Wireless Guitar systems?  Are there any that let the sound be as good as it would using a cable?

Thanks, Daniel

I've been looking around at them and have been "told" the UHFs are better than VHFs.  Probably due to the fact that there is less traffic in those frequencies.

I bought the Samson Airline 77 UHF TD Wireless with AG1 Guitar Transmitter to use when I do a special at church.
When I pluged it in to our sound system,I had no problems and the guitar sounded great. Here's a pic of the unit I have.

that seems like a pretty cool unit. I remember the times when all there were as far as wireless units were those awful beltclip units. I used to have a Baggs Gigpro but stopped using it due to the annoyance of it being clipped to my belt. how much $$ are these things going for these days?

I just bought this same unit two weeks ago! I play at church also. This unit sounds great and is a breeze to use.

I've got one of these for sale.

Larrivee OM-03R-12 string + IMix external
Martin 000-15S + IMix internal
Martin OM-16GTE + Fishman Matrix
Gretch 5120
Fender Squires - Tele & Strat

whiskeyjack:  Perisoreus canadensis.  aka, gray jay, whiskey jay, whiskeyjack or timber jay.   A small, friendly bird of the northern coniferous forest.

Make me an unreasonable offer?  Somewhere between $30 and $40.  We can split the 'chipping?

I couldn't agree more  ^_^   I have enjoyed using it also, I have for fun pluged it in at home and have had some fun with it there.

Hmmmmm that reminds me next time I go to practice with my brother (he plays the drums) I'll have to plug it in.  :GRN>
