Thanks Ben, it is actually an L04R (L03R with gloss from the factory, smaller run I think, haven't seen many around).

Inspired me to make one today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9xIaZGlda8&feature=player_embedded

Thanks! I like it -- like the guitar, the playing, the singing, the song, and the animation in your playing and singing. Is the audio coming from the VadoHD, or something else? I have the non-HD Vado and the sound and video are nowhere near that quality.

BTW -- I like The Creek a lot. Great song!
Larrivee 00-40R

Hi WileE, yep just the sound from my Vado.  Thanks for the nod about the Creek song, that is an old one of mine, but always a favorite.  I really need to record these songs one day.

Hey folks, I'm a new member (proud to be btw) and thought I would start out by posting a video I made with my ol' LV-09. I bought it third hand from a guy who bought it from a guy who used it for performing.....and it shows a bit of abuse. But it plays beautifully, and I'm now a HUGE Larry fan. It is now my "go-to" guitar and I use it for open mikes and such. I rip out the electronics cos they rattled and pissed me off. I'm thinking of installing a mini-flex mic system in it. Anyway, here it is....

thanks guys,
Normally I wouldn't post a video as my very first post to a forum, but I couldn't spot a "welcome" section. I'm sure it's in plain sight but I just missed it. I also think this is not the right thread to post this video. Anyway, I'll start to nose around the forum and get my bearings, and I hope to become an active member. Love this guitar!

Ditto! What I wouldn't give to have your voice!

Since you're a Taylor fan, I wonder if you've seen this clip from Taylor that I put up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2m7YicOjy0

It's an instrumental intro that Taylor never used for the song "Enough to be on your way" If you ever figure it out, I'd love to see it. . .

Steve ....aka the SMan

Hi all,
I just subscribed to the Utube channel though I don't have a video to submit yet.  Still working on figuring out the technology.  I viewed every single submission in there tonite.   Is it ever great to see some of you perform up close and personal.  What a lot of talent there is in here!  It's very inspirational to me.

But here's the thing.  This may be a real dumb question, but how do I relate the person in the Utube video channel to the person in this here forum?  Nobody in the Utube space has the same username or any clue as to who they are in this forum.  Is there something obvious I'm missing?  I figured a couple out but how is one supposed to know who is who?

Sorry Kurt, you can't. There are a few that Have the same or similar name (myself included) and others who regulars here will recognise from sharing videos on here before (like Queequeg - bsur2000, Denis -dturbide)

The YouTube page is also subscribed to by people who aren't members here, as many have just found it through youtube.

When we get a new subscriber, I return the subscription and check that persons uploads for larrivee related videos. If someone wants a video included, they put it on here or PM me and I include it.

Hope this helps

Ben

To make matters even worse, I for example have 3 different youtube channels with completely different names.....that's a little hard to track, huh?
