Installing my K&K Pure Western Mini???

Okay so Im all set to install my K&K Mini in my D-03R last night. It say to install the green pickup in the middle and the 2 black to the outside. Well all three are black. I can find no green color on any of them. Is the Mini diffrent that the normal set? How can I tell what one is supposed to go in the middle. Thanks for any help!!!!

The three pickups on the Mini are all identical, so order of placement doesn't matter.  I just finished installing one in my C-09K.  This makes the second time around with the Mini for me, I am well pleased.  Completely transparent and natural sounding.  Great choice, IMHO.

Mini in my D-03R - just finished another gig with it and appreciate it more each time!

Brad, If you look in the box, there should be a little piece of paper that says the same thing rojo said.  The mini pickups are identical, there's no green one just three black ones, so placement doesn't matter.  Other than that, installation is the same as the regular Western.

Good choice!  I have have two K&K mini equipped guitars, a Larrivee hog-top and a Collings.  They are a joy to play live.

Oh it went great. Install was pretty easy. From what I can tell through my electric guitar amp it sounds pretty natural compared to others. I will not be able to run it into a PA untill monday to get an idea of its true sound.

I bought a PADI at the same time as the K&K - then I found out the K&K sounded great straight into the PA. Sweet and simple.

Me Too,  Try the K&K straight first BEFORE you spend the money.

I put the regular size K&K on my BW Dread, no problems and it sounds incredible! -_-
