What Type Of Electric Do You Play...if Any?

I'm a Strat guy myself.  Got 2 of em.  Both are franken-Strats, built out of parts I've fallen in love with over the years and  decked out with Carvin electronics....talk about hot pickups!  I usually cheez mine up with pearloid pickguards as well.

A tele I built with 3 pu's 2 MIJ fender Tele's,H64 harmony hollow body like a 335,very nice and my new fav a tele with a fralin in the bridge only and a midi pu.LOt's of fun there.

I would love to have an Ernie Ball gutiar....esp. one of those old EVH models before he switched to Peavy. And you're right about the necks....great.

Since I only play electric about once every month or so, I've sold my nice electrics.  Only one I have now is a Peavey Firenza with P90s.  It's actually pretty good.

Fiesta Red Strat

That's the color of my fav. Strat.  I was black, but I bought the Fiesta Red body from Warmoth......it wasn't cheap, but I just love the color.  Very unique....not something you see all the time at all.   Depending on the light in the room, the color changes a bit too.  When I play at my church, under the stage lights, people always ask me, "why did you buy a PINK gutiar???"  I just laugh... Now the joke is, "riiiiight, it's 'Fiesta Red'".  Looks just like my grandmother's old Fiesta dishes.....I guess that's where they got the name for the color.  Sort of like Mary Kay white on the ash body.  Mary Kay's last name was Ash BTW.....sort of funny.  :lol:

Love Fiesta Red, sorta looks orange too!  You don't see too many of them around.  I got a pretty good deal on a Fender Japanese '62 reissue body.  Very light and they got the shapes right!  

Warmoth does great work, I had one of their necks many years ago.

I'm sure I'll here the "riiight, it's "Fiesta Red" too! :lol:
