Visually stunning Larrivee

Well this is an interesting guitar.  Quite visually stunning, both top and back.  I didn't realize Cocobolo could look so much like Brazilian.  I wonder if it sounds as good as Brazilian.

Nice guitar, not a fan of bear claw though.

I felt like I saw that one before because the stunning top looked familiar. Then, I realized I probably saw it online as it was up for sale in 2022. Crazy reminder of where prices were then.

Regarding cocobolo, it's nice. Bright. I don't think of it as better or worse than Brazilian as well-selected woods aren't really better or worse, they are just different and have their own traits.

I like Bear Claw. My baroque lute had it. I recall Mr. BOWIE stating that nit comes from a tree that had a hard life and that it is a strong wood.
