OM-05 - 2005

[Pilgrim]

This is a very nice 20-year-old Larrivee OM-05 guitar.  I purchased it new in early February 2007 and it's always been stored played inside a non-smoking home, only leaving the house a few times when I took it on vacation.

It's all original except for the added strap button on the neck heel.  The guitar is in excellent condition and has only two or three noticeable finish blemishes, the most prominent of which I've tried to capture in one of the photos.  Any others were too minor to show up in a photograph.  It looks far better than it's age and the color and silking in the top is especially attractive.

The guitar has excellent tone and volume, and plays very easily with very good neck angle, action and saddle height, and has remained very stable over the last 18 years.

It includes the original deluxe Larrivee case that has several minor surface blemishes like the ones in the close-up picture of the case.  The original booklet, hang tag, case keys, and truss rod wrench are also included.

Too many guitars around the house and another on the way so something needs to go.  $1800 including shipping to the lower 48 states.  Guitar is located in western Ohio.  Sorry, not interested in trades at this time.

Mine is still one of my faves and I frequently wonder how an OM10 must sound. Somebody take this guitar!!

The guitar was somewhat tight for a few years, then seemed to open up rather suddenly.  At least that's what I recall.  Of course, that was almost 20 years ago.
