RIP Kris Kristofferson

Saw him one time decades ago when he toured as one of THE OUTLAWS.
He certainly had a full life.  Just read this description online:
"Kristofferson was a Golden Gloves boxer, rugby star and football player in college; received a master's degree in English from the University of Oxford; and flew helicopters as a captain in the U.S. Army but turned down an appointment to teach at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point to pursue songwriting in Nashville."

Another legend is gone. We were fortunate to have him for so long.

What a cool dude, and such a great life story. Johnny Cash really took him under his wing, and I think he tried to return the favor and do the same service to John Prine.
