Almost criminally unknown. The late, great Marcel Dadi. Guitariste non pareil. Tragically killed before his time on TWA flight 800.

One of the best. I have a lot of his albums. He can play Atkins, Travis, Reed, Watson as well as they can and his own music is incredible. Better still, he included complete, accurate tab with every record. Still working on some. Le Derviche Tourneur (Twirling Dervish) is so much fun. Fairly simple. Starts as slowly as someone can play and increases speed with every go round until it's mind numbingly fast. Great exercise!

Such a loss to the guitar world.  Glad we have his recordings.

Yep. He was returning to France from Nashville after receiving an award and TWA Flight 800 went down shortly after take off. There is still much controversy but many are convinced that it was taken down by a missile. Whether a military mistake or terrorism, we may never know.  The two Legend albums are must haves, as far as I'm concerned.
