Hi everyone, I have decided to sell my 1978 L-10 Deluxe. She's an amazing guitar, but I just don't play her enough.  I have quite a few Larrivee guitars and I'm having trouble justifying keeping this as a case queen.  As most of you know, this is a very rare guitar and you won't see them listed often, especially without cracks and work required.  Professionally setup by 17th Street Guitars in Huntington Beach, CA last year and plays great.  It was PLEK'd and has great action as noted lower in the stats section.  The Fret board lines up well with the bridge and there are no signs of lifting around the bridge. She does have onboard electronics with volume control on the top inside edge of the soundhole.  All hidden and does not have the board door electronics.  The 21:1 Deluxe Gotoh tuners along with the very cool original art deco style Grover tuners will come with the guitar.  She is in great condition, especially for the age and the tone is unmatched by any other guitar I own.  Local buyer would be preferred, but I can also ship in the U.S. I've reduced the asking price from $2,700 to $2,200, which seems fair and is lower than the other 10 Deluxe series vintage Larrivee I've seen online.  Ping me if interested.  Thanks for looking at my piece of Larrivee history!  The guitar has very low action and is easy to play.  There a few nicks on the neck and you can see a small maybe 1/2" x 3/4" pick wear mark just under the sound hole by the last fret. It isn't deep and you can see it in one of the pictures.  More pictures available if interested in the guitar.

Thanks Mike, I'll get updates for everyone tomorrow.

It would be more accurate to list the serial number with a space between the first two digits and the last four, like this: 10 0122

The 10 is actually the style (like 09 or 19, 72, etc.); the last four numbers are the actual serial number for these early year Larrivees.

I have a '79 L-19, and the serial number is: 19 0656.

Hope this is helpful with anyone trying to look up the serial number on Larrivee's website.

Thanks for the tip!  I do recall emailing Larrivee for stats on the guitar a few years back when I had trouble with the serial number database!

Hello.
Very nice Larry.
Is your price in US or CND dollars ?

Daniel

Hi Daniel, thanks!  It is in U.S. Dollars.  I'm located in Southern California.
