am I in the right place?

as a professional musician  ( i do it for a living, and have been for decades) it's been a terrific summer to be back doing shows and festivals.

I'll just share a fun story about a recent festival I did in Canada.

I was contracted to play the openning show for a rather large ( 20,000 people) festival gig.

"famous" eighties bands were;

Honeymoon Suite;
Andy Kim
Glass Tiger.

I always take 3 guitars to these things, just in case.

I might note, I ONLY use LR Baggs Element VST systems in my stage guitars.

The two stage Larrivees are my 1992 OM-10 (flame maple) and my 04 OM-60 TSB.
Guitar player for Honeymoon Suite needs an acoustic, sees my two, and asks if he can borrow one.
I says " sure, take yer pic"

His daughter, an American Idol winner ( something I know nothing about) flew from LAX to Toronto and her guitar has gone missing..

we play our show, I give her the OM-10, and leave.

WE're scheduled to be in another town before her show, so I say, "look after it" and get it to organizer guy when yer done.

Driving to the next show, my wife is all over me for doing that.

"You left THAT guitar with a total stranger at a music festival with how many people?"

" yep" says I.

10 days later I returned tho the town of said festival and of course the guitar was right there, in the festival office waiting for me.

lovely note in the case, thanking  me for the use of such a lovely guitar.

as much as I love the brand, I DO enjoy leaving them with others for a while ( sharring the love)
