new saddle

hi ,i just purchased a brand new OMV-03R. the action is kind of high on the upper frets so i want to buy a new saddle. i tried calling Larrivee but get no response. they do sell saddles on their website ,i just want to be sure the ones i buy are correct. does anyone know this ? thanks.

John,
If the action is high on those upper frets, get a tune-up; it will make you love that OMV even moreso!
Or if you're comfortable about it, sand the saddle down (nice and even with a flat bottom). It doesn't sound like you really need a different saddle.

I agree. You can pull out the existing saddle and carefully sand it down with some fine sand paper on a flat surface. The only reason you may want a new saddle is if you sand it down too much and then the action is way too low and you get fret buzz.
