So, who's signature is this? Chuckling to myself as I even ask this question...
My own signature has steadily devolved over the years to the point that it looks very similar to the one on the label tucked inside this amazing new guitar.  :humour: :nice guitar:
I can't believe there will be discernable differences between our guitars, other than maybe a set-up preference here and there, so I'm going to go ahead and say that for those of you still waiting, you're gonna love your Forum VI! They are awesome! Thanks to all the great input that came together on these, and the 12 fret long scale feature really voices these things way up in an upper tier IMHO.  :cheers
I've already ordered a woven and embroidered Larrivee strap, a D'Addario CinchFit strap lock, and am debating a new set of tuners or at least dark buttons. Could I just swap the buttons on these?
I just love this guitar!

I have already ordered a set of the black tuners.  I'm thinking they would look really nice along with the black fret board and head stock.

That's Jean's signature.

Waiting by the window.  Again. Good thing there are musical instruments in this room.

Happy New Year to all of you! I have received mine, also. Came the other day... waited a day to open. It is beautiful! I'll post pics soon... when I figure it out. Have strummed it a bit, in and around our chaotic family schedule. Adjusting to the larger body... everything I've had for the last several years has been smaller. I'll give a more thorough review when I've played it a bit more.

I've seen some great looking guitars here and it's nice to watch a dream become reality. I'm still waiting for my phone call so I figure I'm at least 7-10 days away from getting mine.

Okay friends...have a serious question for you all:

My guitar arrived in Nashville yesterday (about an hour from my house), travelling all Southern states. It's scheduled to deliver tomorrow, a full 48 hours since arriving into my climate. Is there REALLY any reason I stare at a box for another day, or should tomorrow be my unboxing day?

...AAAAAND Go!

Cheers,

SS

Waiting is highly overrated, and under your circumstances I'd be comfortable opening the box and case. Just open it slowly, because you can.

Waiting is prudent if you're in a cold climate or cold season. If Nashville's temps aren't terribly cold, you should be fine opening the box and pulling out the case. Then, I would feel the metal latches and see if they're super cold or "room temperature". If the latches are okay, you should be okay opening the case. If the latches are pretty cool to the touch, you could wait a few hours to open it.

It was 78 degrees today, 72 yesterday...mid 50s tonight. The guitar has stayed ahead of the cold snap making its way east. Cooling off tomorrow, but not too bad until the evening...

I know John said no exceptions, but this week has been abnormally warm.

Cheers,

You said that way better than I did Mike! It sounded like he was going to proceed reasonably and with caution. Sometimes my tongue gets caught in my cheek even when I'm writing.  :humour:
