Wanted Larrivee SD-40 or SD-50 Mahogany **Found**

Decided I wanted to get a 12 fretter after playing some other brands. I know Larrivee offers the SD-40 which is a great value and by all accounts a really nice guitar for the price. I've found someone selling one on the AGF but they pretty much want new price money for it. I know at some point a used one will come up on Reverb/eBay somewhere but thought I'd put a plug in here as well. Might consider an SD-50 as well if it's not too steep. Really want to stay with Mahogany as it's my preferred tone wood for back & sides. I know some of the SD-40's came in Rosewood but I'm not interested in those.

Hello, good luck finding the right one. Mine is built with walnut, and I highly recommend it.

I have a like new SD-40 Mahogany available. It is "as new condition" with Larrivee HSC for $1,150 + $100 shipping and insurance. I bought it 3 months ago and realized I can no longer pay it and hands due to nerve damage in both my arms and hands. There is not a mark on it anywhere. The luthier I took it to for an evaluation couldn't believe it wasn't new. If this is in your price range let me know and I will send pictures.
