If memory service me right the end pin is already the right size on Larrivee's to install jack for pickup up and does not need to be drilled.  Is this true?

For the past 10 years or so.  I forget when they made the change.  Older guitars might need to be drilled out.  If the endpin has a hex wrench opening, It will be pre-drilled.

FWIW The K&K Mini was a drop in, no drilling needed on my OO's. Their web site states their jack requires 1/2" or 12mm diameter endpin hole.

On a new installation (drilling a hole the first time) yes.
I would also recommend to never use a spiral (fluted) drill, trust me....
