Are you ready? What have you got plan? What are we eating? What are you expecting under the Chrissy tree?

Christmas for me is only going to be small........Roast Pork and Turkey for Christmas Eve. And to the beach for Christmas day with all the pups. Well I'm not expecting anything from Santa, just bought myself a LR Baggs M-80, that is plenty enough.  :whistling:

New Years Eve will see slightly more action with the old legs. Going out to a Club with the wife for a few beers, dinner and shake a leg. :nanadance

How about you..........

I'll be making manicotti stuffed with cheese and spinach, covered with a pork and beef sauce.I getting a new pair of jeans.

NY Eve will be a quit nite as I have no gigs.

                                                          Merry happy to all. :wave

Helen's kids are in Wisconsin, mine are here. My ex will be at my daughter's dinner so I won't attend and it looks like we will stay in Canada for Christmas as my immigration problems continue. So unfortunately, it's a source of unpleasantness where we spend Christmas. I think we will just spend a quiet one at home with the dogs and make some phone calls. As for New Years, Canada's driving laws have pretty much killed going out, at least, if you need to drive anywhere at all. We are 45 minutes from the nearest establishment and there won't be any taxis coming out here. Humbug.

But, hey, it's not that bad. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.   :beer

I made sure to be ready this year so the wife and I could really enjoy the holidays. Going well so far. Hope to hit a couple more events this week.

Sounds great guys, sounds like you are all ready. U-Rob mmmmmm that sounds yummy mate.

I remember the old days here on this Forum. Around this time of the year the place will be buzzing with new post. LOL Well that was the old days.

I'll be working overtime but did manage to get off Christmas Eve and Day.   I would've loved to have a week or so at home while the company is shut down for the holidays.  Maybe next year.

I have to share my excitement for today Sat. 21 Dec. My Chrissy present.........LR Baggs M-20 has arrive way earlier then expected. I purchased it less than 2 weeks ago from the US. We were expecting it to arrive after New Years, not only that, it arrived on a Sat. thank you Lord!!!! Very unexpected. Excuse my excitement folks.  :nana_guitar

Silence Dogood that is wonderful news. Well at least you got Christmas Eve and Day off. Lovely news.

U-Rob now I see where the Manicotti fits in. You Italians always have beautiful food and why not for Christmas. In fact I think you Italians should have more Christmas recipes.

Though I am a little busy in shopping for my favourite music instruments but yes, eating plans are big.  :nana_guitar

Mom is willing to bake many items on Christmas and sibling are already planning for Christmas tree. My shopping for clothes is left.

The holidays are kinda weird for me this yr
I'm getting divorced and ill be moving out the beginning of the yr
But,I have my daughters to spend time with so that's good
I'll probably be buying a new larrivee as a present to mysef
It's been a rough yr,I hope for better things in 2020
Dave

Davey, that's a tough year.  Trust you get through it all OK, and that 2020 will be a better one.
It's already been a busy season for me.  I have done a Christmas concert with my JCL 40th and my daughter in law on vocals.  Led another group sing-along last Wednesday night.  Played electric lead guitar in church last Sunday.  We played some traditional and some newer re-worked versions of Christmas songs.
My wife baked Christmas cookies and last night our twin grandsons came over and decorated them.   We'll have 12 for Christmas dinner, including 4 of our 5 grandsons and 4 of our 5 kids.
Lots of toy trucks and cars around here.  There will be lots of guitar playing as one of my boys plays, so the Larrivees will get lots of play time.
I've been playing the newly acquired Brazilian D09 Flying Eagle quite a bit. I'm toying with the idea of putting in a pickup so I can use it in the church band.
Merry Christmas to all. :nana_guitar

Oh Dave that's no good, sorry to hear that. Festive seasons are always the most painful, lovely to know the girls are there with you. Yes and your new guitar will help a little too.
Have a good Christmas friend. Oh and don't forget to post pics of your new guitar. Chin up my friend.

Hoopsfan sound like you have a very busy schedule. Sounds like the D09 is getting a work out as well, good for you. Sounds like a lovely guitar. Yes, what do we do without the Misses and the kitchen. :whistling: God bless her. Looks like you will be busy with the children and grand children. Hey you never know, there may be a NEW pick up under that Chrissy tree. LOL

Merry Christmas........Enjoy!!
