Adjusting mic on factory installed Anthem?

Just got a OM-40 Walnut with a factory installed Stage Pro Anthem system in it and love it so far, but have a quick question about the pickup. When I bias the preamp to the mic side, things get a lot warmer sounding and I lose a lot of the high end sparkle that I expected. On the piezo side, it sounds just like I'd expect, like a nice piezo.

I've been trying to read how to properly adjust the mic leve on this system using the screw under the battery cover but wanted to make sure this is the right thing to be doing to address this.

Has anyone had to do this? Do you just adjust it to taste or is there a "right" way to have it set?

Thanks guys! This is my first Larrivee and first experience with the Anthem (in one of my own guitars). I absolutely love the guitar though and I know I've liked the Anthem in other guitars, so I'm hoping a quick tweak will fix things for me.

Update: In reading the Baggs manual online, it sounds like maybe my mic setting is way too low and when I change the slider to the mic side that all the low end from the piezo might be dominating the overall sound. I'm gonna tweak it tonight and report back. If you guys have a setting that you have dialed in to, I wouldn't mind hearing how yours are set.

Turned up the mic from where it was set (was about 50%) and now the mic side sounds MUCH better, and the mic with the piezo sounds great now.

Just a FYI to anyone who's 100% mic mix sounds kinda muted, a quick adjustment makes a HUGE difference.

Have you used the Anthem in a full-band setting yet? Thinking of replacing my K&K in my D-40 due to feedback issues. I hear the Anthem would alleviate the feedback.
