LR Baggs products

I've had wonderful success for years with the Baggs element system.
it's consistent, minimal attack transience (unless you lean) but they all do that, and we all know leaning is just bad manners for sound techs and audiences alike...

recently read reviews of the LR Baggs "session" VTC pick-up (element) and the pre-amp- looks good on paper but....

anyone around here have one? tried one?
