Has anyone tried the Lyric bridgeplate mic? I see Ricky Scaggs touting them on a video interview and it didn't sound, TOO bad but nothing can really replace the sound of a good condenser mic in front of the guitar.

I put one in my LV-10, but have not really given it a good workout yet.

I did a review a while back thats posted here somewhere but a quik review.I found that they work best in dreads or L's anything smaller and they don't work well. You should by a Baggs preamp to go with it so you have better conrol over the tone. They don't sound like playing into a mic but not to far off.I still prefer the Anthem SL over it.

Skip, I tested one a while back and found that it did not suit flatpicking style very well, without another source to blend with it was just too top sensitive.  A lot of fingerpickers like them tho...  I prefer the Anthem...
