How did you come up with your log in name?

Mine loosely based on: a Guild, 2 Gibsons....a Larrivee....and an occasional gig.

Plus I like to laugh.
Don't take no wooden nickles, and don't put beans in your ears.

No one can say my last name without screwing it up so they would just call me Unclrob. It all started 20 odd years ago

Well, I have attended a few jams put on by the G&L Discusion Pages and the Fender Forum.
At the one at BB's Bar-B-Que in Kansas City, the waiter was using various descriptions of different people to keep up with everyone's tab. He used such things as "camera lady" for the one taking pictures and "tall guy" for one of the players.
I was wearing one of  my hats that day and he had me listed down as "hatman".
I liked it and have used it since.
Barry
Imagine smiley face with hat.

Arcane is the phonetic equivalent of my name (R.Kane), and it means obscure, which my family and friends would agree describes me and my passion for country blues.

My first middlle and last name  and some numbers added to it.

Since my name is so common Michael Jones, I use mjvincent which is my first and last initial and middle name for alot of logins so that I can remember all of these many logins.  It gets confusing when you use a different login at different sites...   ;)

Basically, it's because I enjoy playing my 12 string the most compared to my other guitars.

Twelvestrng

Mine was a logical choice as I am "string-aholic" and love the sound and feel of new strings.  I've experimented with all types/makes/sizes and always love the feeling I get after changing strings.  The actual act of string changing is a good chance for me and my guitar to 'bond" and get to know each other a little better.  Quality time you might say!!

So that's it, now my secret be known!

I have always been on the thinner side, that is until I hit 45  :o !  Anyway, I still identify myself as a bean pole even though I might not appear that way anymore!

Mine is pretty obvious.  I am a fanatic for guitars.  Especially high quality acoustics.  I have been known to fall for an occasional electric though.

My guitars:

Larrivee OM-50
Fender Strat
Larrivee OM-03MT

I play acoustic guitar and have for over 36 years now. So the handle "Fstpicker" was chosen to reflect my desire to be a fast picker and my style of guitar playing (flatpicking). I leave the "a" out of Fastpicker because that was my original AOL email address (Fastpicker was already taken) so I stuck with it now for around 4 years.
