Yeah, yeah.  I know. Yet another vs. thread.
This time I'm wondering about the difference between a 14 fret LS and a 12 fret LS.
I imagine that the 12 fret LS would have a deeper, fuller sound to it and the 14 fretter would have a quicker attack/response.
Anyone care to voice a thought on this?

All I can offer is the difference between a Taylor 312 and a Taylor 12 Fret. They both have the same body but the 12 Fret has much richer bass and midtones and slightly less crisp treble than the 312. That's pretty much what you would expect from dropping the bridge down which is what Taylor did, but I was really surprised at the reduced treble.

I imagine the LS might respond similarly to having the bridge lowered for the 12 fret.

With all the larrivee 12 fretters I've played or seen the bridge ends up in the middle of the top of the lower bout.I have found that I get much more volumn and more bass tone in the smaller bodies. My OM03PA which is a maple body has as much tone and volumn as my Guild JF30.
