I have a Vox module in my mod50 for the clean and crunch... awesome tones!  I've also played a little Vox AC15 2-12 at our rehearsal space a few times... very nice clean and you just turn it up to get some distortion.  Very nice sound.

Hey Phil, while we are waiting on the next updates on the F-V, I was wondering, whatever happened to this?   :burin:

Haha, I'll get one goin... maybe I'll submit it for the RS-2 giveaway too... I have some gold shoes it will match very nicely.  I been goin through some major rig changes the last 2 weeks - trying to get it all sorted out.  Got an AC30 I'm soupin up or at least getting it to the point it wont melt its own face off.  Sold the Mod50 as I found I didn't really need the versatility and ended up sticking with a Vox sound anyway... so figured why not just get the real deal...  AC30s are flippin' A W E S O M E.   I did have to get some ear muffs till the attenuator arrives... it's damn loud.  First night I 'accidentally' killed my hearing cos I got 'sucked' into playing it cranked for a couple hours.

Shoot me a PM if I forget again... I get those in my email.

Thank you so much for the recent updates to the photos on your company FB page.  They've presented a great chronicle of the progression of the build process, and the fact that we're looking so close is very exciting.  This has truely been a unique process for me to participate in, and the photos of the Forum V (as well as all of the other builds on your page), really show your participation in and commitment to producing high quality instruments in a very hands-on process.  I'm really looking forward to being an owner, especially since it looks like mine is the sole lefty!

Thank you!!!
Matt

Anyone else getting fidgety?  Based on the latest pics (about 2 weeks ago), it looks like these beauties are really close to completion.  When this whole process is over, and I am done thinking constantly about my incoming guitar, I honestly dont know what I will do with myself.  I guess I can just play it.

Also,  :+1: to the above comment.  Let's not forget the efforts put in by Ted at L.A. Guitar Sales and Andrew (JoyceFromNS) for getting this thing together.

I'm making mini humbuckers today, so yes they are getting very close. We are also waiting on a package from an injection molder with the mini humbucker rings (the surrounds).

:+1: Absolutely right!  This has been a special experience, and I am glad to be a part of it.

For those of you lucky dogs that made the first 5 list, make sure to let the rest of us know what you think when you get them.  In the meantime, I will just keep that beautiful image Ted posted open in my browser to either keep me sated or make me crazy, either way.

I have to say that I just absolutely love the neck pickup we came up with. The first time I heard it was from across the shop and I said to myself "WOW that sounds great!" and ran over to final assembly to get a closer look. It might be my favorite pickup to date.
