I traded my FIII for this lovely Martin from LoMa.  She had it only a few weeks and wanted the FIII.  This is a myfavoriteguitars.com custom with ebony fretboard and bridge, Waverlys, sitka top, rosewood back and sides, slothead...just amazing.  Lovely guitar.  I picked it up at the post office on my way home from work last night.  I peeled of the pickguard and then played it for a few hours...heavenly!

:nice guitar: Denis.  I look forward to hearing you play it.

Nice!!!

Thanks Denis.  Your song was like a quiet oasis in my busy day

Very nice tune Denis, and the guitar sounds good too.  Even though its a Martin.   :humour:

Nice job and proof that the established builders (both Martin and Larrivee) can still build them right and put them in the hands of everyone.

Well Denis, I got my OM-21 back. I gave up my P-09 and some cash, plus A/C service. But I really feels nice to have it back. My wife was right when she told me (twice) that I would regret selling it. Thanks for the little "push". :winkin:

I really like the fact that we here on this forum can trust each other to trade guitars.  I have done the same this year w/K. Donovan and it was smooth as silk.
p.s.  :nice guitar:

I'm happy about that too!

I've bought and sold several times but this was my first trade.  Thanks again LoMa (Lorelie)

Danny, I've played more than one OM-21 and you're a lucky man.

You got a nice looking Martin there and nice playing.    Is this one 1/4" scalloped bracing, or the modified A style?
As far as my OM-21, I missed it as soon as it was gone. Feels right now around here.

I need to listen to your playing again with some good speakers. My laptop made it sound a bit thin. But it makes all guitars sound thin. The speakers are not worth an American dollar in this Asian computer. :winkin:
Of course the American Dollar is worth less and less and less and less and less "These Days".

I'm glad you're enjoying that Martin 000 12 fretter, Denis!

I'm enjoying the lighter/brighter side of things with the Forum III.

I bet that F-III feels like a feather compared to that 000 Rosewood.

I know I will miss the FIII but the new Martin is very different.  I was convinced I would never get another rosewood guitar, I stand corrected!

This makes me laugh...this is the second time you've traded a Martin for an FIII...

Larrivee 00-70
Gibson Advanced Jumbo  - J-185 - J200 Jr.
 National Resophonics  M1 Tricone
 Eastman MD-904 - DGM-1

yup... I'm moving away from the dark side, I guess...
I'm only going to keep one guitar (besides that little P-01MT parlor) and I guess it's going to be a F III Larrivee.
Although I sure am having trouble making myself let go of the Larrivee 00-03R.
I intend to sell it, and then I play it again...
Maybe, maybe I'll end up keeping it too...
I have too much guitar love...
