Ignored By Forum Member

So what does Ignored by Forum Member mean? Cannot be a good thing!!!!

Happened to click for the 1st time on my own profile and see that I am ignored by 2 members - was a little taken aback by this as was not sure what it meant and never considered ignoring anyone , would have no idea how to do so anyway.

Took a quick look at the Forum Rules BUT could not find any info on "The Ignore"

Wondered why two members have listed me as an "ignore" caused me to question - did I offend them? I sincerely hope not, if I did, I apologize now as was never my intention. If it was because of a stupid response or thread topic I started well I yam what I yam and not much I can do about that.

Will this post cause further ignores Hmmmmmmmm????

Why someone ignores someone else who knows.I know I've ticked off my share of formites and other people.I can't think of why but it happens and its no big deal.Take it as crap happens and continue to be who you are and have fun. :gotdonuts:

Hiya JOYCE

Let's see.... there are currently 8,043 members so if only two members have felt moved to officially ignore your posts I wouldn't worry too much about it.   That's a statistically insignificant number.   After all, the vast majority of us look forward to hearing what's on your mind.

I am also ignored by 2 people. I am waiting until it gets to 5 before I unleash the funniest forum post in Internet history.

Seriously, don't worry, their loss. I am sure there are plenty of people in the real world who prefer to ignore me, doesn't do any harm does it. 2 people on here means 8000 odd people happy to read your posts. Pretty decent balance if you ask me.

I was happy when I finally saw a couple of ignored by digits in place in my stats. Don't worry about it and keep enjoying the forum.

Just checked and I am not being ignored YET, but when I get this status, do I get a membership card, kudos, etc...

Looking forward to being part of the group.

Kinda feel like a panting dog right now, wow is that a sad thing.

If no one responds to me on this thread, does that mean I'm being ignored? J/K

I would much rather be ignored on this forum than at home by my wife and kids. Alas... no one has ignored me here and no one listens to me at home... :rolleye:

I beleive you are mistaken. Everyone likes a bit of controversy. What I guess leads people to hit the ignore button is rudeness, or overpostibg, or just being downright boring.  It us probably a complement not to be ignored.

I more or less but mostly more know why I'm being ignored.Wont get into it but I will say that being ignored brings a tear of pride to my eye's. :winkin:

As I have not ignored anyone here (I am still relatively new :winkin:) I am not sure why any of the ignored people are ignored.  That said I suppose I could see myself ignoring someone if all they  posted was either negative or confrontational to me. I don't think it should be surprising that with so many members that one member would chose to ignore another forumite.  (Maybe this will gain me a coveted "Ignore"   :laughin:)  Most forums I am on do not "make public" when you are ignored.

I will be honest and say there are three people in my many years on the TGF/AGF that are on my ignore list.  I just am not interested in what they have to say.  All three IMHO are just there to troll, argue, and berate others.  I have never had a confrontation with any of the three.  I have no issue with debate but am here to learn and enjoy.  I look at the internet as a place to de-stress not add stress.   :smile:  Just Sayin'....

Made me wonder butI just checked and I'm still ignored by 0. The one you ignored must be pretty bad, if you're still listening to me but not them!
