I have had this gorgeous little sunburst PV-09 sitting around the house for about 7 months, intending to install a Highlander pick-up...but it's just a redundant guitar, since I have two others.

I have decided to simply sell it, and enjoy the two PV-09s that I already have (I finally realized that I can only play one at a time, and that I only need one back-up instrument), and without spending the approx. $350 that it would take for the Highlander plus install.

The guitar has been upgraded with the top-end Gotoh 510 tuners, 21:1 ratio in gold w/faux ebony knobs.  The guitar originally came with a Baggs iMix (dual system) pick-up, which I carefully removed, and still have.  I can re-install it, or send it along uninstalled with the guitar.  There is no end-pin in the guitar now, since the electronics are out.

The guitar is in *mint* (as-new) condition, with the exception of a couple of the screw-holes for the original  tuners aren't quite covered by the new, upgraded tuners...mostly covered, but not quite.  I also had a set-up done by my local super-tech (Dennis Berck), with new bone compensated saddle.  Intonation is as good as good can get!

This instrument is in perfect structural condition, straight neck (no hump @ body), proper neck angle, and the appropriate amount of saddle showing over the bridge, with the set-up just a hair over 3/32" and 2/32".

The guitar also has some of the best E.I. Rosewood I have seen on the Larrivée Parlors, and I wouldn't be surprised if this one was chosen for a sunburst based on the great-looking back and sides woods.  It makes sense (to me) for the cool sunburst to go along with some of the best-looking woods.

I am NOT looking for trades, and I *much* prefer a direct email to LP@LarryPattis.com with any conversation or questions, etc.  Please no PMs.

The selling price on this guitar with upgrades (and electronics, installed or otherwise...your choice) is $1600 plus shipping and any PayPal fees (2.9%).  This is a precarious time of year to ship, so that needs to be discussed, in regards to the shipping method, and the transit/geography issue.  I live in Oregon these days.  Cross-country shipping has to be by air, and even then it needs some consideration based on cold, etc.

My highest recommendations for this seller and guitar.

Larry is not a frequent visitor here, but I know him personally and he is as reliable and trustworthy a person as you could know.
Easy going, personable, open, and yet one of the best fingerstyle composers and guitar players in the world.
He has the awards to prove it.

Check out his web site, look around and enjoy some of his samples.

Though not one of his own compositions,  you have to listen to his arrangment of Waltzing Matilda.

All the guitars he plays are Parlor sized 24" scale.  As you can see by his listing,  3 of them are Larrivee Parlors.

You problaly will not find a better used guitar anywhere.  He has his instruments set up and maintained by a luthier who restores high end vintage Martins and is highly respected in that world of decerning players and collectors.

Absolutely my highest recommendations for this forum member.

The sunburst PV-09 is one sweet guitar, but as I said, redundant...hope someone wants to give it a good home!

Thanks for this, DS.

This guitar now has "sale-pending" status, although I have not officially received payment.  The check, as they say, may actually be in the mail.  That's what I was told, anyway!
