Need Webcam help!

Gday folks,

My Acer laptop has a Webcam which I can take pictures with, but I was wondering can I get it to record a video?

What software do I need?

Just a guess, but have you tried VLC?

I don't have an Acer, but most laptops include bundled software with the webcam.

Here's a guy who likes something called Debut (which I've never tried, but it appears to be freeware):
