Nice Looking Guitar!!!!!!      :nice guitar:      That creamy white top looks awfully nice against the dark rosewood!

I've got the same git but in mahogany and hopefully it looks as good as yours.

Thanks for posting the picture!

Ricky,

Amazing photos!!  Nice to see some good close ups of a Rosewood with cutaway.  All of these guitars are so special.  I can see why some of us are having thoughts (and some have actually done it) of owning more than one.

QUICK QUESTION:  Is that Shag carpet?????   :laughin:  Groovy man!!

:nice guitar: :nice guitar: :nice guitar: :nice guitar: :nice guitar:

Congrats!!

Jordan.

Hey Ricky

Nice photographs.  Glad to see you figured out the photo posting, as well.  I really like the dark streaks just touching the bout of the guitar.  I did not notice that when we were all together.

It sounds like a few others will be getting theirs this week!

Finally got my son to take a pict of me with the Forum III.  Puts a face to the name...

Jordan.

Jordan,

Looks like you are really enjoying the guitar.  That is a great shot of you holding it.  From that angle, it looks like a full sized L model.  That top is amazing.

Jordan, the shag is actually an area rug.  Matt, I'd like to take pics of the back too, but I can't control the lighting using only an iPhone.

The only way is to take the git outside (it's still winter here) and then, the camera reads too much light - and it's washed out.

Oh yeah, the dark streaks on either side of the top. I guess, the preferred IS top is creamy and no streaks - so I'm naming these streaks after my wonderful friends here in the Forum.  :thumb

Would thoses bones be used for nuts and saddles, or just the pin........stripping..... :whistling:

I just made it through all 9 pages of this thread while squinting everytime a photo appears.  The 'promise' is alive, as I still haven't had a detailed look at one of these gits!  Jim Holler says mine is on the way to his shop from Vancouver.  WOO-HOO!  Glory be to me in a few weeks. :nana_guitar

Anyone wanting the real deal (I live in a small fishing village in Nova Scotia) can send me an email, and I'll be happy to send you some. I can see a future thread "How do I get rid of that smell from my case..."  :roll

The smell of plain old herring bones is bad enough....my cousins in the Magdalen Islands have converted their 100 year old smokehoses into a museum where they still smoke herring all summer....THAT is not a smell you can get rid of too easily.

My family is from Yarmouth originally. We used to smoke Herring all the time. That stuff keeps FOREVER. Most of my camping cooking gear smells like Digby Herring now. :)

no ups truck drove by my house yet.. if it did I guess I am not getting mine today :(
the shipping status on ups.com still says "in transit"

hopefully, it'll still come today.. they say they deliver 9am-7pm... so my fingers are still crossed...
but then, I am working a night shift today.. gah.....

hopefully it'll come soon!

When you check the status on UPS, what day does it show as the delivery date?

Jordan.

LS-03MTHB Forum III (#19), RS-2 Sunburst

it doesn't show the delivery date.
I think with the shipping method that Larrivee used, estimated delivery dating isn't an option.

Although I am not hoping, but I am pretty sure it'll come tomorrow.
now that I think of it, IIRC, it usually says "out for delivery" when it's on the delivery truck...
O well :)
Jeffrey
