Anyone else sick and tierd of inflated shipping prices? I was going to oreder a bone saddle and some pins from LMI. Total cost for parts: $7. Shipping:$8

I recently sent away for an ivory saddle and the shipping charge was $2, and even then that was at least twice what it cost him ! The cost was 49 cents via US mail, and the little padded bags are about the same if you buy in any kind of quantity. Maybe they don't want to sell small orders so they make up for it by inflating the #$%@ out of the shipping, i dunno. All i know is that this makes it too expensive to buy small inexpensive orders online. Once in a while i can see it. but when you want to buy like this on a fairly regular basis you're paying a LOT of money over time in shipping cost. A bone saddle for $11-$15......i don't think so ! Yea yea yea, i know they gotta make a buck. but when it comes time for a big order i'll have found someone else by then and forgotten about them after writing them off because of the shipping cost. it's just a rip-off as far as i'm concerned.

Try combining your orders, maybe a saddle, ebony tuner buttons, and a bottle of cleaner.  That way you can spread the cost of S&H. :)
