Any Civil War Buffs Here?

Just wondering if there are any civil war buffs since it's been a long time interest of mine and i'd like to learn more about the music and instruments of the period.

I'm not a "buff", but I find the period interesting (and sad, which goes without saying). I sure enjoy listening to fiddle, banjo and guitar tunes from that era!
