My teenaged daughter is making crosses, bracelets & rings out of used guitar strings. She's running through all the ones we had here. If anyone wants to recycle their used strings, I'll pay postage. Just save them up until you have a bunch, and put them in a mailing envelope.

She would be very grateful.

Thanks!

I have about 20 strings i was about to throw away, several are very new that i just tried out then took them off, some are nylon classical strings.
postage will be small so i will pay for shipping.

I think Rob will have plenty for all of us. :)  If she ever runs out, let me know.  I can get her 14 a month (6 guitar and 8 mandolin).

is it clean/safe to use used strings? hopefully she's cleanin em, cause some of my strings get pretty nasty after restrung.. just a concern  :P

I think she's good to go for awhile (between Unclrob & Poki)! Thanks!

I never thought about the cleaning. Mine don't get dirty, they just start sounding dead. So far all the ones we have still look pretty good.
