Very nice!  I think you have an artistic self portrait going in the brown pickguard (photo 4? - the guiatr body shot)
The pickguard is so shiny that I think you can see yourself.

Nice page set-up, Tom.  Do you do this yourself?  
Am I correct in seeing that the "L" has more coats of polish than the "OM"?
And what's that long scratch running  :o ...JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING!!

Yes I did my own webpage.
The OM is indeed not as glossy as the L. I used steel wool on the L and Meguiar on the OM for removal of the satin. I found with the L that the 01s have a very light amount of finish and I didn't want to take the chance on the OM of getting down to the wood with the steel wool. They both look different, but I like it that way. One more application with Meguiars Step 1 probably would have had the same effect.
