No offiliation of course...just an amazing builder in Oregon incorporating new design.  Listen to the audio clip on dream guitars...It'll blow you away.

Most of you are familiar with this I am sure.

Sorry, its SOLD.  Nice looking.  Great sound clip as well.

If that guitarist played any of my guitars, they would probably sound like the best guitar I've ever heard.   ^_^
Play it daily for best results.

HI DIDY, (GAS) "GUITAR AQUISITION SYNDROME" AS ITS KNOWN IS A PROBLEM THAT I HAVE BEEN SICK WITH FOR A LONG TIME. ^_^ KILLER SOUNDING GUITAR BY THE WAY, I THINK IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE A McPHERSON. A HIGH END McPHERSON CAN BE HAD FOR LESS THAN HALF OF THE EGRO CHARLIE FOX THAT YOU HEARD, IF YOU HAVE THAT KIND OF CASH LYING AROUND TRY THE McPHERSON I THINK YOU WILL AGREE WITH ME. NO I DO NOT HAVE ANY TIES WITH McPHERSON GUITARS...JUST A REALLY BIG FAN! :GRN>

I'd say it's more of the pickup and mics used(not to mention that excellent player!), that really made the guitar shine.  Definately a choice recording.

They also make guitars that are more 'affordable'at least in terms of price, if not for the common man.  Be sure and separate the tone of a guitar from the person playing it.  Some cats can make almost anything sound good because of their talent.

It's recorded naturally, close pair, no EQ.

Oh, sure, I just had to look!  That is gorgeous!  And, of course, to get Al Petteway to play it was the ultimate sell--he could a make a shoe box sound good!!  I am most influenced by him right now.

Al is the coordinator for Guitar Week at Swannannoa Gathering the last week in July. I took his intro to DADGAD last summer. And Dream Guitars had numerous instruments on display in the foyer of the class building.... -_-

Awesome looking guitar.    The cut out port on the upper bout looks like something that Jim Holler at Trinity Guitars, builds into his high end classical guitars.   He sez it  gives the player a chance to hear what the audience hears.

Just as an aside, the soundclip performed by Al is the title track from his CD "Land of the Sky."  Great CD.  On the Dream Guitars site, he has two or three of his compositions that he plays on all the different guitars listed on the site.  A great way for a prospective buyer to hear the same song played by the same player on different acoustic guitars...
