I Just ordered a OM3RE from Elderly.  It should be here any day now.  I had an early OM3 with a florentine cutaway on it and like an idiot, I sold it.  My biggest regret in my personal guitar history.  For me, the OM style is right. :beer
It only hurts when your not in tune!

Hi bignote,

If the OM3R I saw advertised locally had had a Florentine cutaway - I would not have paused to think about it. I would have been over there counting out the cash with nary a thought about doughnuts on the way.

I have a 2008 from the 12th Fret.....  Limited Edition OM-03R with some real special appointments.  Its been a nice guitar once I worked out a couple of bugs.  The sound for finger style is amazing!  It is not a strummer in my book.  I use my HD-16R Adi and my Bourgeois Slope D for that.  Add a bone nut and saddle with ebony pins.  Mine came that way also with paddle style headstock, Gotoh tuners and herringbone top puerfling/rosette.... Oh yeah and a pyrimid bridge.  It is a nice guitar!  Its a nice edition to any collection.  Nice side kick to a dread...
A bunch of great guitars I don't deserve and a gaggle of fly rods.... Aint life grand?

Hey everybody,

I want to thank you for all your great input, insights, and encouragement around this question. "OM3r for me?"

As soon as I find my camera (seriously), and when my hands recover, I'll post some pictures of what I got.

I will post a link to it when I get all that sorted out.
