Multi Forum Posts

How many of you post that same thing on 2 forums?  i.e AGF and Larrivee forums.

I don't.  I might pose the same question to both forums, but I write them separately rather than copy and paste.  I like to do things the hard way.

Though I'm a member at AGF I don't post or respond to post because I can't seperate myself from being a player and a repairperson and its gotten me into trouble and since I don't want to create trouble{insert giggle here} I don't post.

I'm a member of AGF as well as this one.   But I seldom visit, rarely respond to threads and I've never started one.    The whole vibe of that forum is different than it is here.    It seems like if you are not one of the ones with a few thousand posts you have no credibility there.   Still, I find things of interest there once in a while.   I also belong to LeftyFrets forum for left-handed players, and the Gretsch Guitar forum.

I've seen a lot of FS items that are cut and paste items on multiple forums but not much else. I belong to 3 other forums: Collings, SCGC and B'Love but this is the only one I pay attention to on a regular basis. The reason? It has a very homey, self-regulated (even though we do have hard working Moderators... thanks guys) feeling that the others just don't seem to be blessed with. For my money this is a brotherhood... uh... PERSONhood? Whatever it is I'm glad to be part of it.

I'm a member of the Fender guitar forum and the Guitars Canada forum, but the only time I've gone there in the last year and a half is when someone has replied to a thread or post I was part of.  This is the only guitar forum I participate in for the same reasons already given.

I agree, this is a personhood that is special and blessed with nice, courteous, genuine people who can discuss and debate even sometimes controversial issues with civility and respect.

I post sale listings on multiple forums. I do cut and paste, but will edit slightly to fit the the interests and "tribal knowledge" of the forum.

This is just a great place to revel in shared guitar infatuation.

I peruse quite a few other forums (lurk?)--UMGF, AGF, HCAG, etc., but I never post.  Truth be told I don't post that much here as it is.  I like the vibe best here, but I will admit to a guilty pleasure in reading some of the dust-ups that occur on the other forums.  It slays me when someone mentions Zager or Esteban (innocently or not), and the eye-gouging begins!

With the advent of the new Larrivee electrics a couple years ago, this is quickly becoming the only forum that's really relevant for me (I own an RS-4 and an RS-2 and have a Bakersfield on order...). My other electrics are mostly Warmoths I've built; and I seldom frequent that forum, even though I'm a member. I still visit a couple other places, but much less than I did in recent years.
