Fishman Loudbox reviews

I just started using this amp the last couple weeks. I'd be interested in its review by someone that's had it for awhile in some different venues. I love Fishman stuff as I've used their Blender preamp in my D09 for 8 years.

I love that amp. Best sounding (and LOUD) amp I've heard. Very tasteful reverb, very intuitive EQ.

Only kept it a short while, so never played it out. I returned it because I really needed a PA. I guess the limited input was an issue.

But for just one guitar, or maybe to feed a mix into, that is an awesome amp.

I had an opportunity to try both of the new Fishman amps (Loudbox and Loudbox Pro).  Both sounded nice.  The less expensive one, the Loudbox, is as good value.  I like the sound better than the Ultrasound amps.  However, it is only one channel, so its uses are limited.  The Loudbox Pro is quite an amp.  Very nice sound, two channels, lotsa features, along with a higher pricetag.  It is competitive will many higher priced amps, including AER.

There's a new model, the Loudbox Performer, somewhere between the two.  Haven't heard that one yet.

Just found a used one locally for $249......if it wasn't so close to Christmas.....I miss that amp.
