I'd like a Larrivée Crossover

I really need a nice nylon string in my collection.

I've been drooling over Kirk Sand Nylon crossover guitars lately. He passed away a few years ago. They are out of my price range.

I'd like a Larrivée Nylon string acoustic, 1 7/8 inch nut, Spruce/Rosewood, probably an OM cutaway, with an Ice Tea burst.

Larrivée - what do you say? Can we make this happen one day?

Anyone else? Do you play a crossover nylon string acoustic/electric? My other choice is a Godin Multiac.

I recently acquired the Godin G-Tour Nylon Acoustic-electric Guitar in Matte Black which is a crossover.  I have smaller hands, so the 1.65" nut-width and 12" radius is perfect for me, but might be too "cluttered" for others. It sounds nice acoustically, but really shines amped up or recording through an interface, especially tracking and layering.

Good luck and I have also heard nice things about the Godin Mundial Series!

If Larrivée built one I would have purchased one.
But I do have the Godin Mundial, which I like very much.

I ended up purchasing a used Godin Multiac Mundial Canyon a couple months ago. It's been fun to play but a full acoustic would be nice too. I've seen the Furch nylon online and they look really nice.

I something a while ago about the Furch's. There were complaints about the neck being too cramped. If I ever went back to a nylon, it would have to be a true handmade classical.

Godin makes sense. They are so strong in that crossover market. I remember it felt like there were a million choices 20 years ago but I think a few builders have sort over taken over that market.

I pretty much feel the same.  I love nylon string guitars and will usually pick one up in a guitar shop if I see a good one. 

I was in Guitar Center not too long ago and there was an old Japanese Takamine cedar-top on the floor for around $700.  I played it for a good while.  It was just insanely good in every way (except some kid once upon a time had doodled on the inside label -- why, though?).  I really should have bought that guitar -- it just seemed "alive" when I played it.  I'm sure the really great classical guitars out there would be even better, but I've never put my hands on one of those.

But speaking of handmade classical guitars... talk about a world inside a world!  If you think there are a bunch of steel-string makers, go down the classical guitar rabbit hole and it will blow your mind.  I started learning about it a few years ago and quickly figured out if would take years to become even remotely acquainted with it all.  So many makers, and so many cool guitars (and so few places to go play them).  One thing I specifically admire about that subculture is that it's a truly old-world discipline and the craftsmanship is just outstanding.
