The grain dances in the light! Heartfelt thanks to the Larrivee crew for such an amazing guitar.

Even in low light, it's got an iridescence. The mahogany shimmers. I also find the mineral streaks quite pleasing to my eye.

Even the mahogany side looks gorgeous.

My delivery date is still Tuesday,  Unfortunately, there is a winter storm coming Sunday night...

Mine is well down the road. I got the email from Larrivee yesterday.
FedEx says Tuesday, but the guitar was only 765 miles away at 4.03 AM this morning, in San Simon, AZ, which is almost at the Texas state line. If I got in my truck right now and met FedEx out on I-10 somewhere, I could be back here a helluva lot sooner than Tuesday.

Thank you for vocabulary bump.  :thumb
I had to look it up.
These guitars are gorgeous.
Congratulations, guys.

The photo does not capture the beauty of this guitar. I need to take it to the shop Monday for a setup, I had a pickup installed and I think it needs adjustment because of that. I could get lost in the top -- it looks 3D. I also did not get the archtop case.

Another stunner! Thx for sharing.

Congratulations to the Forum VII owners who have received their guitars already. Each of the ones I've seen in photos look like a keeper and I look forward to your comments after you've had a couple weeks to play them. After looking at those guitars, my suggestion would be to leave the pick guards off so you don't cover up that beautiful top wood.

kaos,     You might want to let it get settled in to it's *new environment* before tweaks.

Gorgeous guitar! And I second the suggestion of waiting a bit before having someone "tweak" it. Mine was quite satisfactorily set up out of the box. I'm working on trying to capture how beautiful it sounds amplified thru the LR Baggs Dual. I'm running thru a Baggs Venue DI and am just starting to try and dial it in.

Yeah, these guitars are still "bench fresh" and I'm sure there will be a lot of movement going on while you play them in.
My Forum VII is currently in Toledo, OH. We are still expecting a big snow storm tonight here in Pennsylvania.  :crying:

Wow! Undeniably cool-looking guitars. I'm happy for you all!

To everyone suggesting I hold off on the setup: you were spot on. It actually seems to have settled a bit overnight already!

The craftsmanship on this Larrivée is impeccable; the Redwood and Khaya are truly top-shelf materials. The top is especially stunning—it looks like a living, breathing thing. When I play, the entire body vibrates, producing a warm, soft tone that's perfect for my fingerstyle pieces. I couldn't be happier with it.

I'm thrilled with this purchase. My sincere thanks to the Larrivée family for their artistry; they really are masters of the craft.

Just a bit of advice to those of you expecting your Forum VII guitar in the next few days. Grab one of your guitars right now and play. Play as much as you can until your fingertips start getting sore. Make sure your calluses are ready for a workout. You are going to want to...absolutely need to... play your new treasure as much as you can. You're also going to sit and stare at them in between your new-found obsession to play them until your fingers kindly remind you that they're made of meat and bone and have limits. I believe we have been given a truly wonderful gift from the Larrivee family.

Well, my Forum VII is about 1.5 hour's drive away from me, but we got about 10 inches of snow last night. Let's see if it gets delivered tomorrow...

Well, according to tracking mine is about 5 hours away but at least is now in Ontario having cleared customs.  Delivery is supposed to be tomorrow!

Mine should arrive tomorrow as well. It has been lingering at FedEx in Cypress, TX, which I think is about 10 minutes from Herman's house.
