Thanks for the update, Mike!! Please tell him that if he can post just ONE  picture, even just a picture of a tree or a bridge pin, that will be the fix we need to keep the GAS away for a few weeks.

This is sort of related to the wait for news on our Forum VII's. Since committing to this build, I've been debating selling a guitar or two just to keep a lid on the herd, if you will. It turns out that the universe did it for me. About 8-9 years ago, a new neighbor sold me her case queen Martin 000-16, a beautiful 1994 build. She and her husband moved again shortly afterward. Her husband sadly passed away from cancer a year ago and she's been trying to use music as a way of dealing with her loss. She even bought a mandolin and spent time trying to learn to play, but she always missed that Martin. She called yesterday asking if I'd consider selling it back to her. It was a very easy decision, and she's picking it up this afternoon. She also agreed that she'd sell it back to me if or when the time came.

I know that John said he would be posting photos as work progressed and that will be great but I would still really enjoy seeing the wood that they will be using for this Forum build.  I wonder if he will have a chance to do that at some point?
