I came across this YouTube channel the other day. It is called Sor Hand's. Mr. Fernndez is a classical guitarist who critiques players using their videos. I found his comments incredibly funny and spot on. And the outrage in the comments section was funny also. Check this out if you get a chance.

Thanks for sharing. I don't particularly care for super-opinionated youtubers so he lost me at a point. But, I can see why he'd appeal to a lot of people. He has good pacing and keeps things interesting.

One cool thing I've been seeing is how many people in their 20's and 30's have popular classical guitar youtube channels. There was a time, particularly when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's, when classical was extremely uncool. It seems to be coming into fashion again.

I like Cameron's comments. One of them that I found interesting was comparing jazz improvising to composing. He said "jazz is easy if you know the language. It is like me talking to you now. But if I have to write a paper, that requires more thought and time." I like jazz. I must say however that the performers I listen to are limited because I find that while many can play jazz few have much to say, they just kind of fit in in the ensemble. I think that is why when I listen to music I usually turn to classical music. It is a thought-out composition and not something random. I think Julien Lage's own comments are what got him into trouble LOL. The videos are recommended to Cameron by his subscribers.
