Yep, I live  about 15 miles east of San Francisco, in the same town for 40 years.  We have had storms as bad in the past, but not so many so close together.  So the ground is so saturated the next rain just runs off.  My neighbor's cedar tree is planted right on the fence line. It is now leaning against the fence about to fall into my pool.  He has a tree service coming to cut it down tomorrow.
There is a golf course I belong to about half a mile down a country road past my house.  It has  been completely under water ever since the first storm 12/30. So far we've been ok except for one small roof leak.
The washed out road is about 3 miles past my house.
