The pictures and Riverbend's review are awesome.  I'm still waiting on my call but that is fine with me because I am out of town until Sunday anyway (c;

I've enjoyed reading the reviews and the reactions to everyone once they receive their guitar.

I too am still awaiting the call but I am hanging out for the holidays with my grandchildren and returning home Monday. My guitar has a 2,500 mile cross country road trip ahead of it to join its two Larrivee siblings.

Happy New Year.

Tried to call Larrivee and sent an email explaining the issue. Asked if they could call FedEx to verify / correct the street name.  Sitting here,  playing the OO-40, LV-10 and my piano,  waiting,  waiting,  waiting...

Same here - still waiting for "the call". But Mike said John Jr. reported that they're all done, so I suppose it will happen in good time. This weekend temps here will be down to -20F degrees, so I'm glad to wait and have it arrive next week sometime.
Actually, John said Jean "told" him they were done and staged for shipping, and he would double check (early Tuesday)
Later, John said said looked like 5 left to go, not including the 3 extras (late Tuesday). I wasn't sure what John meant by that.
I did ask John yesterday if he had called you, no answer.
I check the S/N on the Larrivee site, cause John seems to enter the S/N when they are shipped.
Just now, indeed. 5 not yet listed....

Edit for Mikey - just this moment (11.53 AM central) John responded "not yet" about my inquiry if you had been called.

Anyhow, while we are all sitting around waiting with nothing else to do, a couple of trivias...
First, Lou last said he tracked his F-VI as far as New Mexico on Dec 27, after being told it would ship on Dec 23, but the S/N lookup shows a completed date of Dec 29. No biggie, just an oddity.
Second, I have always been bugged that 16 guitars were ordered, but I could only come up with 15. So, per one of the tracking sheets John posted, S/N 137814 is for someone named Dean, who I have no idea who that is, but 814 shows a completion date of Dec 29, so I guess we can all rejoice that Dean's F-VI was shipped.
Look, I am as excited as anyone to get a F-VI, concerned about the weather and delivery, and curious about status too, so "keeping track" is entertainment for me, which I am delighted to share.

Thanks Mike,

I bought this guitar as a retirement present to myself and I am down to my last two months of work so this was great timing. Since I am working remotely, the Forum VI will be a great diversion against the Lake Effect snow that will be headed my way in January and February.

I remember the gold watch conversation.
Anyhow, another trivia, which is totally pointless, but here we go.
When I am logged in, the time shows correctly as 1.00.21 PM, for example on your post, but when I am not logged in, it shows as 07.00.21 PM.
You know I am reaching really deep when I post stuff like that.

Logged in for me and it shows 7Pm times for me.  I am guessing it registers on GMT and not Eastern for me

It's probably a profile setting, which I would have set like 7 years ago, and would have no idea to set today.
Unless a mod did it for me, since my town is part of my name.

The post time stamp has always been a mystery to me and I just ignore it nowadays. Otherwise I'd be left to believe half of you folks were posting from China and Timbuktu. And a bit of caution to those expecting delivery soon. Build up your callouses now! I can't even play mine this afternoon after the hours I spent with it yesterday and two hours of mandolin rehearsal today. I'll try again tonight...
And still waiting for comments from Bard and Herman! Not much from either at this point. Not even sure who all has theirs yet?
EDIT: I seemed to have figured out the time differential business. Click on Profile, and in the Modify section click on Look and Layout Preference. There is a heading for time differential, with an option highlighted in red to "auto detect". Bang...just like that! See, this gorgeous Forum VI has made me smarter!!!

Okay, I've come up for air.
Still loving this Forum VI, I'll need to get it set up more to my liking, action needs some work re: nut slot height. Problem is finding someone capable that I trust in Houston area, would like to make my way over to Guitar Tex in San Antonio, but that's like a three hour drive one way.
First guitar I've owned that has such an aroma (nice)
Responds very nicely with the slightest touch, I'm trying to decide on which strings to experiment with ( I do on every guitar )
Great sustain, very different from my other L bodies, which is nice.
Overall I'm a very happy camper.

I like the John Pearse Phosphor Bronze Mediums if you haven't tried them.  I will wait a bit to swap to them on on VI though

Play it with a capo at the first or second fret until you can get it adjusted - that will make it more comfortable and enjoyable for now.

Another excellent set of acoustic strings that have impressed me are DR Strings Veritas. Use the Xenon (gold tinted) plain strings on the B and E strings - great tone.

They are a little more expensive than D'Addario, etc. (by a buck or two), but you can order them in bulk from Sweetwater: 5 sets of Lights for $29 or 3 sets of Mediums for $24; helps some.
