I just realized that this will be the first Larrivee I own that has the new neck radius profile. I look forward to seeing if I can detect any difference in feel or comfort.

Yeah, and the new truss rod access.
I haven't felt any difference, except increased pride of ownership.

Thanks to Mike for keeping this project on track and to the Larrivee family for making the Forum VI a reality.

16 years ago, I was waiting for the arrival of my first custom Larrivee, an LV03 12 String with mahogany top, back and sides, Venetian Cutaway, bone nut and saddle in an Archtop Case. That guitar was shipped from Vancouver, BC to Trinity Guitars in Jamestown, NY in early February, 2006. I think I will start referring to that guitar as Forum 0 and it will be a nice contrast sitting on a stand next to the Forum VI.

In July 2015, I ordered my second custom, a Martin 000 12 fret, I  picked it up at Trinity on December 15th of that year and my two sons and I shared a beer with Jim Holler at the shop. He even stayed late to wait for me.

For those first time buyers, remember that you will look back and realize that the anticipation is almost half the fun. After playing my parlor last knight, I actually found myself wondering if there would be enough small pieces of wood left over from this run to make a matching concert ukelele out of moonwood and walnut.

And at least equally as important, it is pronounced 'oo koo lay lay' not 'yoo ka lay lee'
