Looking to replace the plastic bridge pins in my L03R-TE  Most likely  bone. What do you all recommend.  Don't want to do a lot of sanding or anything to make them fit.  Would like them to fit right out of the box. Reviews say Waverly is great but a lot of times modification is needed.  I would like to brighten up my sound  little. Yes I know that the effect bridge have on sound is usually minimal.

Why not just buy the bone slotted pins from Larrivee? They will fit perfect. It's what they use on the -05 series and up.
That is what I use. And right, they don't make much of a tone difference, they just look better than one's I took out.

Thanks I didn't realize you could order bone bridge pins from them.

Yeah, go to Larrivee.com and click on Pro Shop, all kinds of stuff there.
Get on the mailing list and deals come in now and then, deals that are money savers.

Bob Colosi makes bone pins that fit Larrivees perfectly; size 1T. He is easy to work with as well.

I'd definitely go with the Larrivees. I had a couple unpleasant experiences with the fellow mentioned above.

So I ordered the white bone with black dots from Larrivee.  Haven't put them in yet. The thing is they look so polished and all perfectly the same color and shiny they look like plastic or synthetic.  I I really can't tell anything by feel. If I had ordered them from someone other then Larrivee I wouldn't know if they were bone or not. Note I am no expert in this stuff.
