Devil at the electric crossroads

Was out looking at a used Hound Dog Deluxe Dobro + Americatian Standard Fender last night. Some guy is moving and needs these gone by Monday. Its like the devil at the crossroads....  I can get both of these for less than 1K. Dobro is mint. Fender has a couple small dents, no paint chips or anything. Couldn't really play the fender really as the high e string was broken... Has fender case and all case candy. I mostly play acoustic, so these would not get a whole lot of play. Thoughts?
