My two favorite guitars right now (both Larrivees) are mahogany...

Nice guitars Rev..I especially like that 1992OM....I've had an urge lately to get a rosewood or koa guitar but to do so I would likely have to trade in my LV 05 and I just cannot part with it. There is something special about mahogany in both acoustic and electrics. Very warm and clear in an acoustic and thick and creamy in an electric. I even bought some end tables and a coffee table made from this great wood. My wife loves them....

I love Mahogany back/sides, especially when used with scalloped bracing.
