Hi Everyone,
Due to the spiraling cost of live acoustic concerts, I have resigned myself to DVD concerts. Here is my Top10 list, what is yours?

1.  "Hell Freezes over" The Eagles
2.  "The Dance" Fleetwood Mac
3.  "Alison Krauss+Union Station Live"
4.  "The Road Home" Heart
5.  "Neil Young  Unplugged"
6.   "Eric Clapton Unplugged"
7.  "The Corrs Live in London"
8.  "Byan Adams Unplugged"
9.   "Pull Over" James Taylor
10. "An Evening with The Dixie Chicks"

Larrivee 2002  C-10 Koa LR Baggs Anthem SL
Larrivee 2015 000-40 MT large soundhole LR Baggs active Ibeam/passive Baggs M1
Composite Acoustics Cargo LR Baggs Element/dual source mic

I just got the AK&US dvd tonight.  It's on my list for sure.  Some great playing and really good recording.  When you hear great guitars played live in front of mics, it makes you want to find a way to never use a pickup again.

Guess I best be gettin' me a DVD player!

Peter Gabriel - Secret World Live (One of the more incredible live performances ever.)

Riverdance - Live from New York (Thrilling.  It's got it all, music, singing and dancing)

Paul McCartney - Paul is Live (The greatest performer of all time with his amazing band)

Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed - Live at the Bottom Line. (up close and personal with two incredible guitar players)

1. David Gilmour
2. Eagles- Hell Freezes Over
3. Jars of Clay- 11 live
4. DMB- Listener Supported
5. James Taylor- Live at the Beacon Theatre

DMB-Live at Central Park
Tenacious D-The Complete Masterworks,  before you totally dismiss this one, it is hysterical.  The guitar work by Kyle Gass is pretty good also.

These are the only two DVD's I have seen, but I enjoy them both.  On the DMB dvd Warren Haynes plays on Cortez the Killer and a few other songs.  I'll have to get my hands on a few of these DVD's though.

The 3 Pickers....Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson, Ricky Skaggs.
Stanford PSD10 (best Martin D-18 copy out there!)
Stanford PSD20
Walden D552 12-string
The Loar LM-400VS Mandolin

Tommy Emmanuel - Live at Sheldon Concert Hall
One word - Awesome!

Try Neil Young's Greendale DVD. It comes packaged with the CD and is a fantastic solo performance which was filmed in Ireland, I think. The tunings he uses makes his sound so unique and he is an accomplished acoustic guitar player. Bob Dylan's Unplugged is also another good show. I am not sure if it is available on DVD. I have the VHS.
