I just want to add (for what it is worth) that the best Martin for Blues is a Gibby
Serious though - the acoustic blues sound that I think of when I think blues, is Mahogany sound - and then short scale which I find a wee bit "metallic??" in a small body. The Martins that would be the ones I would look at are the 000-18 and the 00-18's. I don't know the 15-series so I'm not qualified there.
The blues sound and tone I'm particularly after is the Keb' Mo', Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Dion De Mucci, and Buddy Flett - sound. If it is Keb' Mo' then it has to be the L-00 body-Gibsons. I fancy the Keb' Mo' signature Blues Master because of the wide nut, and the short scale length.

Ok to the point - frankhond I think you made a great choice there - the deeper body surely has some Nick Lucas influence (I believe Gibson Custom shop are planning to build a reissue run again)
Congratulations and many happy hours with it!!  :gotpics:
