Hi Matt.
I've never played an all mahog guitar but I am always looking for something new. How does this compare to a cedar top with mahog back and sides? Where are you located as I am in Canada and shipping always seems a problem and the border can be expensive? Thanks for your help.

Hi John,

While your question was for "Matt," I believe it may have been for me, Bill, the seller.  Unfortunately, I have never played a cedar topped guitar.  Perhaps another Forum member who has played a cedar top, can chime in.  Regarding shipping to Canada, while more expensive, I know it can be done.

 I shipped my all mahogany D-03MT from Texas to Canada with no problems.  I would say the hog top is woodier and not as bright as a cedar top.
