I am selling my second Forum III (IS/MH with herringbone binding). This is one of the unnumbered extras that were made while the run was being made last year. I jumped at the opportunity to have a second and while I enjoy the mahogany, it now seems silly that I have two.

Please note that the bridge pins have been changed to horn and I have had the nut changed to bone. This guitar is in pristine condition.

I am looking for $900 plus shipping. Shipping will be via Purolator which I have had excellent service with in the past. Paypal only please.

Many thanks,

Lynda

This is really going at a bargain price. I think this guitar has a tone that rivals some of the best I have ever played. Someone will get a great deal here.

Hey Lynda - I sent you a PM.

Chas.

I thought two friends of mine who love my IS/hog would snag this, but alas they are both in financial binds at this time.  I'm giving Lynda a bump - somebody needs to jump on this one.  The F-III IS/hogs are mighty fine guitars.  Somebody will be happy they got a second chance to have one of these!

Chas.

Bump for a great guitar, worth at least twice the asking price.

I value my marriage more than I do this guitar (if you get my meaning) . . . but if I were single I'd grab this guitar up ASAP.  Good luck with the sale!
". . . if I only had a brain . . ."

That is too bad...  I have a pre-war Brazilian Martin in mint condition that I have grown weary of.... just kidding - I will send you mail if I want to part with the cash.  Thanks!

Anybody?

This is an amazing guitar in pristine condition.

Welcome to the forum. You've snagged a great guitar. You'll not meet a nicer person than Lynda either. Good weekend ahead!!

Ditto.

Lynda I have been reading all about the history of Rickenbacher (btw spelling is correct). All because you bought this new one. (Well and because of the "Byrds") They look like a company that has remained as true to the original models as possible, in design and quality. No wonder they have a back order all the time.

Thanks for the welcome (seems to be a friendly forum here).  Believe it or not, this will be my 1st 6-string acoustic guitar and I currently own about 30 guitars.  As you can probably gather from my handle, I am a bit of a Fender fanatic.  But have always admired Larrivee acoustics because of the quality and the beautiful wood.  Can't wait to play the Forum III!

Thanks guys for your kind words. Welcome to the forum Michael. There are some great people here, some of which I got to meet when we toured the Larrivee factory last year. While I admit that I will miss this guitar, I am thrilled that it is going to someone who seems to be as passionate as I am.

And Danny, Rickenbacker is an amazing company who refuses to bow to the pressures of today's society of wanting everything now, and continue to run their business as they always have. For me, the wait was well worth it. It is amazing guitar to play.
