They made 9 Forum-I guitars made, according to ST's site. There were 17 F-IIs made. Both are an OM with either a spruce top or all HOG, having an abalone rosette with -03 series appointments. Say Forum-? on the label with the #, as 1 of 17. The real thing to watch for is an OM-03 with an abalone rosette . Only ones that have it. Add that to the info, as it is a big flag for your guitar. The abalone was a surprise (gift) form the Larrivees.
  Good luck again!
    Jeff

All 9 of the Forum II's had a Mahogany top.  I have a OM-03 with Mahogany top, abalone rosette and pearl headstock logo but 14 frets to the body. All the Forum I, II and III guitars are 12 frets to the body.

Yes, you are correct. The 12 frets to the body should be added to any info on a report. My error for not pointing that out. Thanks. The more info, the better the odds of it being found?

So it seems I have come to doubt, all that I once held as true

I really hope you recover your guitar.  Someone had to have seen something.  I would try some investigative work with the groups that were present maybe even offer a reward to the aa/na group.  Good luck.

If its single malt you can send it to me :humour:

Please make sure the info goes state wide. Most stuff stolen ends up in another town or state.

A local guy here had his house riped off and someone in Georgia bought his laptop off craigs list up there.

Sorry but if a recovering alcoholic comes forward with the guitar in order to collect the Scotch, first of all I wouldn't give him the Scotch and second I would have to count to ten to give him some time to start running.

Just to note, I have a few friends that are recovering alcoholics and I have nothing against that. I do on the other hand have something against anyone who would steal someone else's things, guitar or otherwise.

I agree about thieves.

Just don't think that being in recovery makes 'em more likely to be the thief.  But I do know there may be someone ...
Anyway, I was just reacting. The situation is a real bummer.

I was just having a little fun responding to Tony's post. It's not like I was poking fun at J**s.  :humour:

Sorry I could not resist.  Seriously, I am really hoping this guitar gets back in its owners hands.  I dont know him or the guitar but I find myself checking in just for some news.  Maybe the church has some sort of insurance that they can make a claim against?  I know I am reaching but you never know.

I also find myself checking in to this thread as my first stop when I am on the forum. I truly hope this guitar gets recovered. Dane purchased this guitar from me and in some strange way I feel like I was stolen from too.

Its a sad sad world out there. What kind of person steals especially IN CHURCH!!!! This makes me real upset  I really hope you recover the guitar. The fact that it was a limited edition just makes the whole situation even more disappointing. I will be on the look out on ebay and craigslist.

Really sorry to read this.

If you send me the details I will post up on this for you dbTwang Stolen Guitar Alertswww.facebook.com/stolenguitaralerts.

Also we have just launched our new service - dbTwang GuardiandbTwang Guardian and we would like to give it to you free and forever because of your loss.
It normally costs $25 per annum and allows members to record their guitars in detail and gives access to a One Click alert service if they are unfortunate enough to lose one/have one stolen.

To do this just set up a free account at dbTwang.comwww.dbtwang.com and then email me (fintanbk AT dbtwang.com) with the name and email you used to set up the account. I will then activate your free for ever Guardian service and help to protect any other guitars you have now or in the future.

Actually you need to check with both the Church and your homeowners insurance coverage.....there may well be coverage for your guitar under one of the 2 programs. Call your agent for your homeowners to see if there is coverage and have the church call their agent.
